Our Newest Addition

Our newest addition, Nicole Lynn Davis, was born July 16th, 2009 at 3:48 PM. She weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

After Nikki was born, mom decided to get creative with Nikki and take some pictures. She has a very distinct birth mark that is about the size of a quarter on her right bum cheek. So cute!

Adding on to the house

Last year before McCormick was born, Josh decided to add another bedroom onto the house so we could have a nursery! Boy what an adventure that has been! We had to tear off the old roof to put the new trusses up. We were without a roof momentarily. We also had a few feet come through the sheetrock in the entryway in the process. Below are some pictures of our progress. It is a work in progress and will hopfully be done next summer. We are planning to add onto the back of the house an extra 20 feet giving us a dining room, a bigger family room and extra bedroom, bathroom and some storage space. YAY! We will then convert the main bathroom into the master bath and SELL IT! Yes, sell it! Check out the pics...

It decided to rain while the roof was off. Thank goodness we had a rubber membrane to cover the roof. We had just put new sheetrock up!

Mommy converted McCormick's bed into a big boy bed. Daddy's playing in it! Needless to say, the big boy bed didn't work out very well. We changed it back into the crib that night. Oh Well, a little later I guess.

I finally did it!

So many have asked if I have a blog so they can see pictures and updates of our growing family. Well here it is! I am new at this so bare with me as I learn how to run this show.
A little about our family...
Josh and I got married on September 29th, 2007. We went on a beautiful Western Caribbean cruise visiting the Bahama's, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Two weeks after returning home, on October 24th, 07, I found out that I was pregnant! On January 18th, we found out that we were having a baby boy! On July 3rd, 2008, Earl McCormick (McCormick) Davis joined our family. Three months after I had McCormick, I started to feel different. I took a pregnancy test and low and behold, BAM! I was pregnant. Ooops. Nicole Lynn (Nikki) Davis joined our little family on July 16th, 2009. Two years later, two children later, I am a blessed wife and mommy. I have the privilege of being a stay at home mommy and love every second of it! Josh takes care of our every need.
